Kids love fly fishing!
Delayed Harvest water is a hit with kids!

Fly Suggestions:  Little Green Stone, Little Yellow Stone, Clown Shoe Sally, Purple Wooly Bugger, Brown Stone Fly Nymph

General Information:  All Delayed Harvest waters were stocked the previous week.  Recent rain has some DH streams running high and off color.  Larger nymphs and dark colored streamers are good choices.  The fish seem to be a bit more selective, so try the more realistic patterns in your fly box.  A good tactic to use is the Liesenring Lift.  If you are throwing heavier flies, you might want to use a 5wt. rod, doing as little backcasting as possible and throwing a much more open loop.

Projected Conditions:  Looks like the rain is over for a while, with cooler temps. in the forecast for the next several days, so make it a point to get out on the water while we still have DH fish in the streams!
