Fly Fishing Class for Beginners
Our Fly Fishing Class For Beginners is available at our shop in Weaverville. The class is an overview of fly fishing equipment, trout species, habitat, entomology, knot tying, fly casting and reading water.
Classes are 3 ½ hours and cost $75 per person with a two person minimum. All equipment and materials are provided by Curtis Wright Outfitters. Each student receives their own fly fishing manual to keep.
Some students choose to add a ½ day guided trip in the afternoon to reinforce what they’ve learned in the morning classroom session.
Please inquire to schedule private classes that are available Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm. We can teach this class off-site if you have a suitable location.
